Renegades’ Matthews, Santos sign with four-year programs

FREMONT – A pair of Ohlone College women's volleyball standouts will be taking their talents to the next level. Sophomores Kara Matthews (Castro Valley HS) and Ruby Santos (James Logan HS) have both signed letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year universities.

Ohlone women's volleyball head coach Courtney Owyang-Paras announced Matthews is transferring to Hope Internation University in Southern California to compete in beach volleyball while Santos is staying in the Bay Area to play at Menlo College in Atherton.

The duo made it official at a signing ceremony on campus. Ohlone College congratulates these two outstanding student-athletes and wish them success in the future at their new programs!
