Ohlone moves to 3-0-0
The Ohlone Renegades pushed their win streak to three to begin the 2025 season when they defeated Lemoore College on Friday afternoon.
In a close-fought game, Ohlone led at halftime 1-0 thanks to an own goal from a deflection off a Lemoore defender. The key moment of the game came about halfway through the second half when Ohlone scored on a slick set-piece routine. Freshman Angel Vasquez extended his scoring streak to three straight games as well, scoring from the set piece and again 10 minutes later when the Renegades were awarded a penalty kick.
Vasquez now has five goals on the season, and the Renegades are 3-0-0. Next up, Ohlone hosts Marin on September 2nd.
