Ohlone Renegades Sweep Las Positas Hawks in Dominant Volleyball Victory
Fremont, CA — The Ohlone Renegade Women's Volleyball team delivered a commanding performance Wednesday night, defeating the Las Positas Hawks in straight sets: 25-16, 25-19, 30-28.
The Renegades came out strong in the first set, showcasing sharp serves and disciplined defense to take a decisive 25-16 win. The momentum continued into the second set, where Ohlone maintained control with consistent attacks and smart ball placement, closing it out 25-19.
The third set proved to be a thrilling battle, with both teams exchanging leads and pushing the score beyond regulation. The Renegades held their composure under pressure, ultimately sealing the match with a dramatic 30-28 finish.
"This was a total team effort," said Head Coach Owyang. "Our athletes showed grit, focus, and unity throughout the match. I'm proud of how they responded in the third set and finished strong."
With this victory, the Renegades continue to build momentum in the Coast Conference standings and demonstrate their potential as a top contender this season.
