Renegades win two at home tri to extend winning streak to 9

FREMONT – The wins keep coming for the Ohlone College women's volleyball team. The Renegades can add two more to their winning streak after sweeping a pair of opponents at home tri event on Saturday.

Ohlone opened the day with a 25-15, 25-21, 25-16 win over Lassen College and wrapped up the event with a 25-23, 25-16, 25-15 victory against City College of San Francisco.

The nine-match winning streak has catapulted the Renegades to a 13-2 overall record. Four of Ohlone's last five wins have all been sweeps.

In the Lassen win, Savannah Le led the Renegades with 11 kills. Alicia Cornejo posted 16 digs, and Ruby Santos had 14 assists.

Hannah Issenmann paced Ohlone against CCSF with a team-high 9 kills. Cornejo led with 11 digs, and Santos added 14 more assists.

The Renegades are back in action on Oct. 9 when they open Coast Conference play at home against Skyline College. The match is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
