Renegades Commence Home Competition with Season Best Efforts at Ohlone Invitational
FREMONT – On March 13th, the Renegades hosted the Ohlone Invitational, marking their first home meet of the season. With the sun out and spirits high, many are swimming personal and season's bests this meet, as they prepare for the HAWK Invite in the coming weeks.
Highlights of this meet include swims from Freshmen Noah Caron, Aiden Tai, Estephanie Rivera, and Sophomore Jasveen Toor.
Noah Caron - This meet, Noah swam 5 events, 2 individuals, and 3 relays. He swims top 10 in the Men's 100 Breast with a time of 1:10.68— his extracted 50 Breast being a Personal Best of 33.11. He also hits top 3 in the Men's 100 Fly with a 56.25, while participating in the third leg of the Men's 400 Medley Relay with a 54.73 Fly, the third leg of Men's 400 Free Relay, swimming a 56.19, and leading off the Men's 800 Free Relay w/ a 1:58.75.
Aiden Tai - Aiden participated in 2 individual and 2 relay events. Aiden placed top 8 in Men's 100 Breast, w/ a time of 1:09.79, and top 8 in the Men's 100 IM w/ a Personal Best time of 1:07.64. He also participated in both the 400 Free and Medley Relays. He anchored with a 58.03 in the Free Relay and swam the second leg of the Medley with a 1:11.01 Breast.
Jasveen Toor - In her second year swimming for Ohlone, she comes back strong, swimming a 1:24.58 and ranking in the top 9 in the Women's 100 Free. She also swims the 500 Free for the first time, ranking in the top 5, with a time of 9:34.08. She also participates in the second leg of the Women's 400 Free Relay, swimming a time of 3:06. 96.
Estephanie Rivera - With Personal Bests across the board, she participates in two individual events. She places top 10 in the Women's 100 Breast, with a time of 2:05.89, and top 20 in the 50 Free, with a time of 45.24.
