Marin - The Ohlone swim team starts March off strong with great swims at the 22nd Annual college of Marin Invitational meet on March 7th, 2025. It marks their 3rd consecutive week of swim meets where athletes continue to drop time
 
Highlights from the meet include swims from Freshman James Phillips, Anthony Tom, Brooklyn Sisk and Michelle Parra Chavarria. 
 
James Phillips swam both relays, he swam fly in the 200 medley relay with a split of 24.95 and also swam the fourth leg in the 200 free relay with a split of 24.62. James swam 50 free and ranked top 10 with a final time of 24:53 out-touching his closest opponent by 0.18 of a second. He also swam the 200 IM, placing third with a final time of 2:20.61. 
 
Anthony Tom swam both relays, he swam Backstroke in the 200 medley relay with a split of 31.49 and also swam the third leg in the 200 free relay with a split of 25.25. Anthony swam the 200 back ranking 3rd with a final time of 2:34.13. Ohlone men dominated 200 back, with teammate Ryan Ruaboro placing first and Anthony placing third, winning a majority of the top 3. Anthony also swam the 500 free, ranking 4th with a final time of 6:13.62. 
 
Brooklyn Sisk also swam several backstroke events. She swam backstroke in the 200 Medley relay, with a split of 38:19. She swam the 200 back with a final time of 2:56.78 trailing the Ohlone top 5 record by only a few seconds. She swam the 100 free, ranking top 15 with a final time of 1:14.01 and swam the 2nd leg of the 200 free relay with a split of 27.70.
 
Michelle Parra Chavarria swam majority breaststroke today. She swam 100 breast and ranked top 10 with a final time of 1:46.97. She then swam 200 breast with a final time of 4:06.54. Michelle also swam 2 free events, one relay and one individual. She swam anchor in the 200 free relay with a split of 38.6 but also swam 50 free as an individual event with a final time of 36:06, out-touching her teammate Junia by 0.54 of a second.
