Ohlone Men's Basketball Wins Overtime Thriller

FREMONT, CA - Ohlone College Men's Basketball won late Friday against the visiting Cañada College from Redwood City 82-78 in overtime. The Renegades started the game trailing the Colts early before rallying to take the lead at the half 39-31. Cañada College came back in the second and made a flurry of three pointers that cut the lead down and eventually tie the game. Both teams missed opportunities to win at the buzzer, sending the game to overtime where Ohlone College won the extra minutes 10-6.
Ohlone College was led by their sophomores Kiratraj Sanghera and Anthony Lacy. Lacy finished with 19 points and Sanghera with 18, both with 11 rebounds as well. The dynamic duo have been a dominant force for the Renegades with their consistent rebounding, scoring, and defense. Both players are top 5 in the state in blocks and had 5 blocks against the Colts Friday.
The Renegades' next home game is Wednesday, January 28 at 6PM against the visiting Chabot College Gladiators.
