"We are VERY fortunate to have Coach Vallez here," according to Head Coach, Mike Curran. "He has shown that he can develop relationships with guys, lead in a strong manner, and he has a real vision for what he wants his catchers to look like. I am excited that our guys have time to really dig in with Coach Vallez. I think he's really good at what he does. His practice plans for the catchers and detailed and in-depth. He is always with our catchers, guiding them and pointing out subtle nuances that help them with their footwork, blocking, framing, and everything else. He's an oustanding guy who is helping us in the trenches."
