Clash of the Titans: Ohlone College to Host Santa Rosa in 3C2A Baseball Regional Finals

FREMONT, Calif. — May 14, 2026 — The stage is set for a blockbuster matchup in the 2026 3C2A Baseball Regional Finals as Ohlone College prepares to host Santa Rosa Junior College in a highly anticipated playoff series. Two of Northern California's premier baseball programs will clash, bringing dominant regular-season resumes and high-stakes momentum to the diamond.

The Renegades of Ohlone College enter the Regional Finals boasting one of the most formidable records in the state. Dominating the Coast-South Conference with a 16-4 record, Ohlone amassed a staggering 38-7 overall record (.844 winning percentage) this season. Winning eight of their last ten matchups, the Renegades rely on a suffocating home-field advantage and a deeply balanced roster that has consistently overwhelmed opponents throughout the 2026 campaign.

They will face a battle-tested squad in the Santa Rosa Bear Cubs. Emerging from the fiercely competitive Big 8 Conference with a 15-9 conference mark, Santa Rosa carries a formidable 33-13 overall record (.717 winning percentage) into the finals. Riding a two-game winning streak and finishing 6-4 in their last ten games, the Bear Cubs have proven they can compete with—and defeat—the state's top-tier talent.
